The Infiniti concept – er, styling exercise – made its world debut in Detroit on Monday in the form of a 2+2 sports coupe crossed with an SUV. The vehicle features gullwing doors and 20-inch wheels. Sensors in the door determine whether an object could block the door from opening. Inside a sweeping center console holds the controls for vehicle’s nerve center. When the doors are shut, small panels slide in to place to cover the console for security purposes. The interior crosses classic lines with high-sheen synthetic materials on the IP and dash. The vehicle also raises and lowers itself 60 mm depending on road conditions – 30 mm down for sports car mode, 30 mm up for off-road mode. When necessary, the rear seat back slides forward 60 mm to double available luggage space. High-intensity headlamps are linked to a GPS which allows headlight beams to be aimed around a corner when turning. Infiniti considers the vehicle to be the little brother of the FX45.

Where's the chrome

I still don't like it more then the FX45 which I like more then the Murano. Just don't like the front end of the Murano at all. Love the styling on the FX45, but I have no idea where the Triant is going.

looks like a dull chrome to me. appears close to what just about everything else has. oh well, everyone has different opinions.

don't complain about the big shiny wheels, all concepts have them. that vehicle doesn't really have any chrome, my Q has more. also, muranos have a nice big chrome plastic grille and nissan emblem on the front. the emblem is not even metal.

I just hate chrome. Wherever I see it I hate chrome. Harleys are chrome and leather, and they are for f**s. Wanna be gangstas have chrome rims. Everything possibly associated with chrome is gh*y. Unless it is like a bathroom, then I don't mind it... well actually I have yelled at my faucet. In addition to it being ugly, it makes your car slower. Going alloy to chrome, or pretty much anything to chrome (discluding gold wheels) makes your car go slower I just don't see the point.

Anything about the engine? Love to see that thing lowered, but since it has 20's I dont know how it would look. That is pretty bad-A$$ specially the headlights being connected to a GPS. Really cool, rock on Nissan/Infiniti....

Ahah no, i just hate the flash over function (Yea I coined that term... well see if anyone uses it ) that you see everywhere today, and chrome just adds to the flash side.
