Hi i just purchased a 2006 M35 for my girlfriend.. I currently have an Acura MDX and i put in a 7 inch nav/dvd player double din and it had bluetooth. Looking at the M35 i dont really see a place where i can put in an after market dvd player that would fit nicely. What she most liked about it was that she was able to stream music from her phone through bluetooth. The M35 has bluetooth but it looks like its only to make phone calls and it wont allow you to stream media. I was wondering if i can put in a aux input so that we can connect her phone to play music.. Also was wondering if auto starts can be put in on this vehicle as well..

We need more details on what kind of car you have (which packages).

Most likely, you will want to install a USA Spec. PA15-NIS (non-XM cars) which will give you a 3.5mm AUX cable she can plug into her phone as well as iPod connectivity.

This is all documented in the FAQ thread that is 'stickied' at the top of this sub-forum.

The iSimple has a Bluetooth module for their adapter for this car. I have the Ipod one INI-5172 I think. it works well, the screen display is goofy since m35 only displays like 6 letters. I just use the Aux1 option and control everything from my iPhone. The volume is low on the power cable BUT since I started using the AUX1 option and Djay app I can control the gain and the volume sounds a lot better

You can use same adapter and add the Bluetooth module but then u lose the M35 nice phone interface have to go through the phone for audio and phone i think. I like the cable option simple and charges the phone too

Stay away from anything that uses an FM transmitter. They just don't work well.
cheapest route: RCA to 3.5MM: http://www.amazon.com/Mediabridge-Stere ... a+to+3.5mm
(There is an RCA input behind the center console.)
