I just purchased a certified pre-owned 06 Diamond Graphite M35 with Bourbon interior...I love it !!... But I want to upgrade my 6 speaker stereo system and see if anybody is selling sport rims....But first with the speakers...what size are the stock one's and what setup/brand of speakers should I go with...Please help if you can.

First and foremost, welcome to NICO and to the Infiniti M35 club!

There are a few possible sources for the 19" Sport rims: our classifieds (although I do not think there is anything there right now), eBay or the Infiniti dealers. Clearly, the dealers will have a high price for these, and I think the car is new enough that eBay will not have many available for sale (if any). Some Infiniti dealers also have ones that were left by new owners who chose to get some other after-market rim installed at the time of purchase - these will generally be lower in price than new ones. Try contacting Joe Tsensky at http://www.everythinginfiniti.com for "take-offs".

In terms of speakers, there are probably some after-market speakers that will fit the M. However, I am not sure that I would recommend any of them personally. Because the amplifiers and equalization in the car is designed to work with the existing speakers. The net effect of changing to some other brand/model might be far worse performance.

Plus, the entire environment (engine, car, plus road noise) is not exactly conducive to a high-quality audio experience in any case ... I'd rather spend my money (and do spend it) on my home stereo for all my critical listening!

So, my questions for you are: what specifically do you not like about the speakers that are presently in the car? Are they inaccurate for classical? Not enough bass? Not enough treble? Things that the tone controls cannot "clean up" to your satisfaction?

Z

P.S. I edited your post to remove the uppercase in every word. That is considered shouting in our forums. Thanks!

Actually, anywhere on the internet. All CAPS is a no-no

Welcome to our club. But I am wondering if the stereo is not loud enough for you?

unfortunately i dont have the 2 channel 8 speaker bose system, i have the basic 6 speaker system, what i'm looking for is a little more bass in my music, i listen to hip-hop, r&b, reggae and latin music. I had a g35 with the bose system and that sounded great, yes i know bose but i want to do something to "feel" the music in this m35
