If you go with the CP pistons they require no modification and work great.

It kinda sucks too. It wouldn't be that hard for them to fix the problem. Did you ever try to contact them and let them know that they don't fit properly?

I say, upgrade the valve train with RB appliances. They are much stronger. I think, depending on your cam's lobe, you have to purchase new lifters too.

Saludos desde Panama, America Central.

Welcome to the CA18 forum, probably one of the most helpful and friendly forums in all the Internet.

I have now almost 2 years dealing with my 200sx so feel free to contact me if you find something that you think is different to the 240sx or to the JDM CA18 engine.

Good luck with your rebuild. It will be well worth it once it is done.

Not many available here in Panama, and depends if the part is shared/used on some other, more common, nissan engine.

I was able to buy here things like:Brake PadsFront Brake RotorsEngine Temp SensorAverage quality (Chinese/Korean) Oil Seals (retenedoras de aceite)Belts including Timing beltSparkplugs

Had to order from the US at stores:ThermostatBrake BoosterTiming Belt tensioner pulleysThrottle Positioning SensorFuel pump (upgraded)

and many things 2nd hand but in great shape here in the forum:CASInjectorsPower TransistorCoil PacksTurboFuse Box

Still pending to find some replacement Rear Brake Rotors, which have Drums for the Handbrake and Brake Pads for normal braking on the 200sx.

Many other upgraded parts bought at different stores like the NICO sponsors.
