Changed my HID lights and fog/parking lights. HIDs burn at 12,000k and parking/fog are blue-white bulbs. Def helps with vision at night. Let me know what you think.

lol someones got to make new threads and give us stuff to talk about. Just figured i'd show everyone what I did because I know I like when other people show me what they did. Sharing your mods helps give other people ideas.

FACT: Higher Kelvin temps emit less light.

Interesting that you think you can see better at night, I would think that the opposite would be true.

I found them on ebay. they were $9.99 plus $4.99 shipping and handling. The bulb size is 2825. The seller is motoringmax. Heres the link:

There is no way your able to see the road better with that high of a kelvin rating. It should effectively make it worse, and even more in the rain.

Yea real pain in the a$$. First get your girlfriend or anyone with small hands it helps.

1 turn the wheel opposite of side you working on

2 jack the car up

3 bend back the fender wall lining

4 unscrew the cap of the HIDs

5 Use phillips screwdriver and unscrew screw

6 remove bulb and replace (warning don't touch bulb with your hand, touch base)

7 reinstall

If you want to do your parking/fog the bulb will be below the one where the HIDs are (really tight fit there)

hope this helps

Sick, lets see some pics now! Real tight fit in there huh

Also to everyone, I'm having an issue with my right HID, keeps popping off and bulb goes out. I think I need to twist the connector. Going to fully take wheel off and jack car up today so I can fully get in there. I'll let everyoen know how it goes.

You don't need to unscrew the screw. You just need to release the two ends of the retaining clip.
