I have a 2011 G37 Convertible and the warrantee just expired and the drivers window will not completely close when you exit.
If you are in the car and operating the window with the switch it will completely close.
The issue is when you exit and the window automatically lowers when the door opens, it will not automatically close tight once the door closes like it should and it leaves the window open about a 3/8's of an inch.
I was hoping this could just be reset somehow and I could do it my self.
The closest dealer is 1.5 hours away.

the passenger door is operating fine - can anyone out there help me?

Im new to G's myself but from what i gather there is a procedure you can do yourself to get it to close properly.

Try this:

This is a common problem when retained power is lost. You will need to perform the following procedure, it’s real simple and resolves this issue. That can occur if the battery is drained and is easily reset.--- 1. Push the ignition switch to the ON position.--- 2. Close the door.--- 3. Open the window completely by operating the power window switch.-- 4. Pull the power window switch and hold it to close the window, and then hold the switch more than 3 seconds after the window is closed completely.--- 5. Release the power window switch. Operate the window by the automatic function to confirm the initialization is complete. --- 6. Perform steps 2 through 5 above for other windows.
