i am going to buy my friends 90' 240sx , i belive its a 90. i had a fare share of doing work on his car in the past. it had a CA18DET swap, that blew up so then he gave up and swapped the stock KA into it. its not finished yet. the engine is in but i am going to buy from him as is and get it running again. i currently drive a 2013 GTI. its a lease so i am going to return it and use the 240 for my daily in about a year. he is giving me everything that he had when it was turbo. so i'll have all the stuff to go turbo, for now i am just going to run stock injectors, but it does have a mapecu2. dont know if anyone here uses one. not sure what turbo it comes with, i know its a t3 flange and its pretty small with a internal wastegate, also comes with intercooler, boost gauge, wide band, fuel pump, ect. looks like most people just run a SAFC with the stock ECU. here is a pic of the car

im looking to get around 300hp, since my GTI has a little over 300hp. so from what i gathered, correct turbo, safc, 440cc injectors, bigger maf and safc? sound correct. i already have walbro installed on it, and obviously a intercooler bov, ect

I would get a ROM tune that matches a bigger MAF and injectors. The SAFC isn't capable of tuning the timing side of things and isn't all that good with fuel.

i do have the mapecu, which can control timing. but maybe i'll just sell that and get a tuned ecu, i have been trying to find a way to get these tuned ecu's but i cant find a good place to get them, any links to get them at?
