Hey Guys,
I just purchased a 2006 M45 with 61,500 miles on it. Silver exterior, black interior, 14 speaker, camera in rear and front (for the cruise control). I think it has everything minus the monitor for the back seat. I believe every M has backup camera.

Before this I had a 1999 Acura TL. That was my first car that I got when I was 17 and i kept it for 7 years. I lowered the TL, added a lip kit all around and tint. I always liked a simple and clean look. I ended up trading it in and bought this car because my TL had oil and transmission leak. Cost to fix would be more than half of what the car was worth. It had 168,854 miles when I last saw her :crybaby

The M45 is a great car and fast when it has to be. My plans are to get the lip kit for this as well but it seems to be very difficult to find the sides and rear. My dealership quoted me about 276 for the front lip painted to match my car.

In my previous vehicle, i would clean the wheels with some eagle one wheel cleaner every couple of months. I did that today with this car and now some of the clear coat has peeled from every wheel. Luckily it doesn't stand out because of the color of the wheels but when looking closely you can see what has happened. I now know why it happened and the differences in the wheels surface. I'll survive.

From what I have read, this car is bullet proof and rarely has engine or transmission problems...if any. My previous vehicle had the transmission rated as one of the least reliable. I was lucky enough to not have my transmission fail on that car but in the previous forum I was part of, I think everyone had their transmission fail at least once.

After looking at MANY cars, I had decided on this. I went to an Infiniti dealership looking specifically for a 2006-2008 M45 and was not interested in anything else. I am very happy about my decision.

I look forward to being a part of this forum. Cheers!

Welcome! Good choice of vehicle. I'm not surprised to hear of transmission problems with Honda products, and glad you narrowly escaped.

Only place to get the aero kit is at Sarona in NY, can be seen in ebay.

Infiniti doesn't make it any more, they have it listed at almost every site but when you place an order it won't go thru.

you can also get an aftermarket kit from Japan but cost is high $$$$

How is the fitment on the Sarona aero kits and the material? Im sure Fiberglass on the sides and rear isn't that bad but hopefully fitment and installation is good.

Does anybody here have it installed on their car's?

M45s are known for oil consumption problems. Just as a precaution, watch your oil levels. I'd hate to see you lose your car.

2 members in PA got the Sarona kit installed some time ago but they never really posted the out come.

I know he does sell the M kit alot but most don't join forums.

I do have the Sarona roof spoiler which IMO is the best looking one so far for the M and the fit & finish is very nice, all you have to do is get it painted.
