I've been lurking for a while, and have found quite a bit of useful info. here that's helped me TREMENDOUSLY. A light behind my HVAC controls went out, and because of this forum I not only breezed through changing it out without breaking anything, but I also magically fixed my radio which hadn't worked in 6 months saving me about $500. I had planned on selling the car, but recently really started to enjoy my J30, and with Swinshark going through all of his testing on suspension, I can now lower it without spending $2,000 on the only set of bags I found that bolt right up to the car. There's at least another grand saved!!! Glad I was able to find NoSaints car also(google pic search actually led me to this site in the first place) as his car is basically the look I have planned, though with some 'better' wheels.

Anyways, I'm from Clear Lake, TX, own a pearl white 95, 65-70k miles, Almost perfect condition inside/out, and my radio works. My car has some chrome factory wheels I've never seen on another J30 though. Not gonna post pics because I figure everyone knows what a white J30 looks like, but I could post a few if people would like.

His is by far the best I've seen. I had wanted a front lip as well, and after seeing that, I'm buying it somehow, cost of shipping be damned! I'll snap a few here in a little bit when a friend and I go for a bike ride, but they'll only be iPhone quality since I don't own a digital camera. Pay no attention to the dent on the front of the hood. . . a friends girlfriend backed into the car. The rear bumper could also use a repaint. It was bumped in a parking lot when my grandmother owned it and whoever 'fixed' it should find a new trade. Other than that she's about perfect.

Welcome to Nico.

J's are getting rarer, especially up here in snow country. I've only seen one other one so far in 2010. I'm sure they're are few more in Texas.

Nope the spoked part is straight. I'm about to head back home, take a shower, and then I'll upload the few I took and post them.

Sorry it's taken so long. Phone wouldn't send the pics to my email, then my usual uploader is down, and I couldn't remember my pw for my backup!   Sorry they're crappy shots, I was running late meeting my friend for the bike ride. . .

EDIT: I just spent two hours figuring out how to work Yahoo Japan and then looking for the JDM front lip and/or mirrors. Not a single part other than badges. :tisk: Was funny how much they seem to like USDM plate holders though!

Hahahaha hellllllllllllllllllllllllllllll no! The back end was always my big problem with the J. Looks like it has a droopy butt! The little wing helps it out a bit I think. I want your chrome emblems instead of my gold, both your bumpers, and your hood!

Hahaha that's why I put it in quotations. The term better is subjective. If it makes ya feel better I sent a pic of your car to my brother earlier and he's in love with it as much as I am. I MAY even switch your poc and the Santa Cruz Bicycles logo back and forth as my background on my phone

I don't see why it won't do it apart from the auto transmission. I also sort of own a 1991 GMC 1500. 5.0L V8 with a 5 speed manual and it has just over 400,000. All it's had is 2-3 clutches, and a few starters and batteries apart from routine maintenance. I did a complete tune up a replaced the catalytic converter last year and it passed emissions with flying colors. The front suspension is all janky though.

Not worried about the engine at all. As you said its the transmission that needs TLC. :)
