welcome man, get some more pics of you car from different angles, looks like once shes complete itll look very nice.

also, please correct me if im wrong but... if I'm not mistake, the au-tech top is MANUAL. There was another member on here who posted a bunch of pics of the top being put up and down, and from what he showed us, a manual top is the only way I can see it working well.

thanks for the replies everyone

Im from sunny England, and the car arrives in a couple of days!! it needs a bit of work, the hood needs tidying, and the electrics arent working on it, im hoping its a simple fix..

What is an Autec hood? mine is a power hood, so ill put pics of it working when i get it working ha ha!! is this different to your hoods then??

as soon as she lands that nasty spoiler is coming off, origin rear lights are being put on, my blitz rims, and then i will indeed be whoring it up with photos!!

Jason,

Great to have you aboard!!! We're all very excited to have an active member with an authentic JDM version of the S13 'vert. We've had a couple in the past, but neither owner checks in very requently.

Are you aware of just how rare that car is??? You have a true collectible! Take very good care of it!

Please do take copious pictures for us on the working of the JDM top. That's the one big difference between the JDM version and the USDM version, and the part that most of us are very interested in. I for one am wondering if there is any way to duplicate that on my vehicle.

You are also one of a few European members that we have on the boards. I think we've got a 'vert owner in Sweden, Germany, The Netherlands, and now you in England.

Anyhow, congrats on the car. Let us know if there is anything we can do to help. Also, if you need parts, let us know and we'd be happy to help you out.

and theres me assuming that the hood was the same!! ill do a search on the differences with the hoods, i dare say ill be on here asking questions about it... i do know theres a problem with one of the rear quarter windows, its jammed down, but ill know more once ive got the car...

ill take as many pictures as you want, ive got a few of the hood that i can put up, is there any thing inparticular???

JDM Silvia quarter window looks like this. I was desperated to find a part for my broken quarter window back in the day, so I tracked down this diagram. I also checked infiniti convertible and it had totally different mechanism also.

oooh! nice and high!

i was told that the roof wasnt working for some reason, so i thought i would have a look at that first..... and hey presto, it worked! woo!! power hood baby!!

then the important things....

1st, cage out... and get that dam wing off!!! this will be sacrificed soon...

lower the coilovers as much as they can go, and shoehorn some 17x10 ET15 blitz rims on!!!

nearly there.....

Wow, looks like they took great care in shipping that thing. I've seen some cars get pretty banged up in shipping containers.

I'm definitely looking forward to seeing your progress with this car. Definitely hot.

Please, whore it up with lots of pictures.

Yes a video of the convertible "hood" would be most precious.

94_240... i guess the quarter windows are completely different than ours?

i love how clean it looks with the top down. jealous.
