intercooler piping? what did the last owner have in it? i assume you know that all 240s came with an NA engine.if you get a clip (to my knowledge daunt is only selling motor sets which still have everything you need to swap but not everything found in a clip) yes it will have everything you need to swap and then some (assuming everything in the clip is legit).the engine and transmission bolt right up but you will need to do some ecu adjustments and some minor things to get it running.

if you're pretty heart set on doing this swap then just look at the shape the chassis is in and don't pay much for it.

you need to do some more homework though before spending any money towards a swap.

good luck

ECU Adjustments?

I don't recall "adjusting" mine.

If this shell actually has intercooler piping, you should be able to tell by the hotpipe and the coldpipe what engine was in there. Start looking at the intake manifolds of CA18DET's, S13/S14 SR20DET's, KA24DET's, RB20/RB26/RB26DET's

The angle of the coldpipe should give it away, mostly. It was probably an SR20 or KA-T

ECU adjustments are sending it to JWT and havin them reprogram it. You can buy the SR ecu for $300 but thats not even as good as having it done by JWT. but ur right in that i dont know why you would NEED to do that to get it running.

JWT is not even close to the best option for a retune. That is unless you have a ton of money to spend (read: waste).

Some people just like to DIY with the help of a good dyno tuning shop. JWT is for those that dont have the time and/or skills and have the money for a retune everytime they change something. Besides, who wants to run a distributor.
