Hello fellow z lovers, My name is Leah, I'm 18 and finally bought my dream 72 240z about a month ago. Picked him up for 2900$. So far I have replaced the master cylinder and booster, those bolts were a pain in the a** to unscrew...they were so rusted over. Replaced the brake lines, wheel cylinders and rear shoe set. Now he stops on a dime. :] My friend has a welder and he made me a new exhaust since the old one sounded terrible and was extremely rusted. Now it's straight piped with a resonater and sounds very angry haha. Bushings needed replacing as well, I only have the steering rack bushings left to do. I need to replace the floor pans and get the carbs rebuilt as well. There are some rust bubbles and cracks in the paint, but I just need a new paint job eventually. Whoever painted the car white did a terrible job. There is over spray on the chrome trim around the side windows that I havent decided what I'm going to do about yet. The trim around the front windshield and the hatch window I taped off and rattle canned black. It looks alot better now in my opinion.

Thats all I can think of off the top of my head. Other than actual car issues, I need a system. I have radio and a tape player but only one speaker works and it's kind of hard to hear over the rumble of the engine when I'm driving haha. Once I get the cash I'm going to buy coilovers, fender flares, and I want deep dish hre 505's if anyone knows what those wheels look like. They are so sexy, but so rare and expensive so I doubt I will ever get them ha. Maybe side skirts and a California wing once I'm done with all of that. Aaaaaand those are my plans with the z.

His name is Loki, the Norse god of mischief. I think it fits. :]

I'll take more pictures of the interior after I make a shift boot from fabric I need to go buy,
and vacuum out the dirt and whatnot and make it look good.

Thanks for looking!

It actually looks pretty good. How bad are the floor pans?

Thanks everyone. :) I am in desperate need of a windshield wiper motor for my z, it works currently but it is verrryy slow and will not be able to help me see if it starts raining. If anyone can help me out with that I would be very grateful!

'The floor pans are in need of replacing soon, but I'm not sure to the extent of how bad they are. I just dont have the money right now to buy steel and get it welded.

the wiper motor isn't a bad motor, these are notoriously slow form the factory, the positive swithcing reduces voltage leading to slower action, with some tweaking a honda motor can be modified to fit and will work a lot better but cleanign the switch contacts and cleanign the contacts in the column might help a bit, best advise...don't drive int he rain ;)

Also, Rain-X. In case you do get caught in the rain.

Hmmmm, which honda wiper motor should I look into? Ive been driving her around no problems except the wiper motor situation. Its been raining alot here in Atlanta recently and I hate having to take out my moms cobalt instead of the z. Rain x is a good idea, thank you! I think I have some in my garage I'll have to look.
