What's up. I finally moved over from front wheel drive to rear wheel drive. Picked up my 1st rear wheel drive car last night. It's a 91 non sunroof non ac hatch back. I absolutley love craigslist for finds like these. Paid a whole $500 for the car. It's got a clean title, pretty straight and the paint is still in rather good shape. The guy I bought if from got it from his mom on paper it is a 1 owner car. Also only has 104k on it. Only bummer is its an auto. PO paid his buddy to do the timing chains and guy couldn't figure out how to get the timing right says he never turned it over but I'm ready to replace the valves if need be. It already has 16" borbet type c's and lowering springs as well as a momo steering wheel. I plan on doing a 5 speed swap, silvia front end and if I have to tear into the motor I'm going to drop some sohc pistons in.

You put 'chic' in your name and 'screaming' in your first thread title, get ready to protect your leg.

But welcome, nice pick up.

Think the real question is, is there 'really' a predominately female car forum?

If so then it was found out and taken over by dudes.

I not a super huge fan of flip up headlights. Although the later s13s definately look wayyyy better then the early ones. I'll be rocking the stock front end until I can get a legit silvia swap (metal fenders, stock silvia bumper, and metal hood) I'm not a fan of the "everything on my car is fiberglass" look believe me when I do the silvia swap it WILL be clean ;) .

I'm mainly looking forward to driving a fun car that won't break. I came over from the old skool watercooled vw scene and I am no stranger to things randomly breaking lol. Finally got smart and got in to nissans. I will probably end up with a turbo motor of some sort. I have experience with megasquirt from my vw but the vw part caused so many head aches that just driving a reliable car is good for me for now
