What's up. I'm new around these parts. I just picked up my first Nissan, it's a 91 auto hatchback with 109k on it. I got it for a song and a dance, a whooping $500. The kid I got it from had his homie change the timing chains and they could figure out how to time them right. He told me that tried starting it so I assumed it had bent valves. So I towed it home and tore the head off only to find the loosly assembled everything but never started it. So I lined everything up and reassembled and basically got a low milage s13 hatch with nothing wrong with it for $500 lol. Anyways I've been tinkering with vw's for a few years and spent alot of time and money to get 140 horse out of a 1600 lb car so I sold that and decided to dedicate my project money to the s13. Oh and before you guys start calling me dude and man have it be know I am a female and no my boyfriend is not building my car for me I do everything myself. :cool:

And here's what I bought with the profits :-D

It's a complete sr swap with trans and all that I also got for a song and a dance. $900 for everything minus turbo and manifold. So I'm just trying to round up all the parts to start the swap. Oh and for it to get warmer as my only other transportation is a R6.

So far I have the turbo and manifold, just ordered a fmic, found all the 5 speed swap stuff in the yards, Trust 3" exhaust. Only thing thats left is clutch kit, short shifter, downpipe, misc gaskets, and other stuff I'm sure I'm forgetting haha.

let the leg humpers begin...

well it looks like a great find. just make sure you take your time with the swap. you might as well start swapping out and replace alot of the essentials while you have the motor out.... so you make sure you have a healthy start with your swap

Ya I'm going to do all the gaskets I can get to with out fully takeing the motor apart. The car was a san fran car so all the bushings and stuff are hosed. So I am going to replace them with all poly stuff. It had blown tokico blues with sportlines on it already. So I picked up some agx's and swaped them out. I will go coil overs eventually somewhere down the line.

Basically finished product I want it to be pearl white, tinted windows, coilovers, sway bars, bigger turbo, 180sx type x kit, and gunmetal rota p45r wheels

Ya I loved that car. Had it for 4 years and learned how to drive stick in it and everything I know about cars from working on the car. It was a beast for what it was. 2.0 16v, huge cams, megasquirt lots of money went it to that thing

Sciroccos are super cool... I have a thing for older Vdubs.

Anyway, welcome and congrats on the nice acquisition. :wavey:
