New here, Hid problem 98 pathfinder

Hey guys and girls, new to the forums. I picked up a 98 pathfinder in early september and I've done some minor mods to it. My pathfinder is Canadian and therefore has drls. I picked up a set of 9004 low beam hids for the truck and installed them. I knew I'd loose my highbeams but that's ok as I rarely use them and have a set of hella driving lights I'll be installing soon.

My problem is this, after installing my hids I don't have drls any more, which is fine. But when I turn my lights on my high beam indicator is on, even thou I don't have high beams. Also when the lights are off I have a high pitch buzz that comes from the passenger front side which is super annoying. I'm assuming that's the drl unit. In my previous cars I would just pull the drl fuse and that would be fixed or remove the drl unit. But it seems these trucks you need to rewire it to stop it from working ? Also by doing this will it fix my high beam indicator being on ?

Thanks in advance, I'll post up pictures and a more formal intro in a little bit. This is my first truck, and first import I've owned so I'm a little unfamiliar with what works and what doesn't.

Thanks, I took a quick look and in the how to it says it's a brown box beside the battery but all I see is a small black box. Is it the same ? I just wanted to double check it's the right box. I can take a picture if needs be. Thanks
