Car: 90 SR 240 hatch

Post

Hi everyone, My name is Cameron from La Crosse,WI. I Drive a 90 240sx hatch. I bought this car back in march. I was told it had an issue with the engine when i bought it. This car ended up eating a valve spring ont he way home. Surprisinlgy it made ut the 45 miles more it had to go. So i pulled out the KA in favor of the sr.
Heres some pics of when i first got it.

Thanks for the warm welcome,
Plans from here are as follows. Im having my engine built by a local performance shop that has already turned out some quick cars. I would do the build myself but i feel better helping out a military vet who is trying to get his buisness up and going. He is a great guy and i expect good things.
Engine build will include:
CP Pistons
Crower Rods
New bearings, seals, and timing componets
Tomei cams and valve train
ARP hardware all around
Apexi Headgasket
Greddy Intake manifold and oil pan
Solid lifters
Garret GT3071r top mounted turbo
Enthalpy Rom tune.
Still figuring out fuel as i do not know if were going with e85 or not. I use this car for a large majority of things. I do autox, drag, ice autox, and maybe a road course this year. It is primarily set up for drifting though

I thought maybe a few of you may want to see the progress that i have made since march of this year when i bought it.
Things done so far:
SR swap
Took out vlsd 180sx diff and put in welded diff
New RUCA, replaced the s*** broken godspeeds with some ISIS ones. Some may not like ISIS stuff but i have been very happy with it.

Now that its winter i have started a few other things:
Gutted interior and took out sound deadning
Installed a Corbeau reclinable seat
painting the bare metal in my interior to match the exterior
doing some small bodywork before i lay down my Midnight purple vinyl wrap
New rear diff hardware
Cleaning up the underhod wiring
Ordered 2 more 9.75 rims of the same for the front and some wider front fenders from origin
Also may order overfenders from origin
Heres some pics of progress
My old diff

I had them but never put them on but I was going for 9.75's rear and 8.25's front..... I like a proper turning staggered setup
