New here got transmission problem ?????

i have a ka24e automatic. i go to put it in gear but my car doesnt move and i know my transmission coulnt have went out on me. can anybody tell me how to fix this problem

my apologies my driveway has a slope i wold put it in reverse some times it would catch gear and when it does it doent have enough power to make it up my driveway i just roll back dowm could it be my shift linkage?????

Maybe it's because the KA-E is so underpowered?

mine doesn't always catch reverse either i have to rev it in neutral til i can get squeeze into gear and go through the shift pattern several times, it feels like its in but its really not. It also did that in 5th too but not lately. the guy who sold the transmission to me was an ***hole he lied to about the condition it was in, it was mistreated very badly. I sense in the near future i will be going through the transmission.

wow, how do you know its not bad? have you checked the fluid? does it even have any? is it burnt? sounds to me like its slipping. let someone who knows about cars look at it.
