Hey everyone, just when I thought i'd been to every Nissan site I stumble upon this. Anyhow nice to be here. I had a question about exhaust's well really i'm calling on anyone with a Vibrant Catback on there 3rd gen V6 Altima. I've heard the video clips and interior clips but still can't decifer if its going to be too loud, or drown too much. If anyone here can help me out i'd appreciate it. As for now the car has a Racingline Y-Pipe, Racingline FSB, NWP VIAS block off plate is on order. H&R springs are sitting in my trunk waiting to be installed, sold my Injen CAI cause the car ran like *** with it in. And now debating the Vibrant exhaust.

The quality of Vibrant parts individually is excellent. I have bought v-bands, 2-bolt flanges, and stainless piping from them and all of it was better than other products I've bought. With that said, I don't know how much research and development Vibrant puts into their exhaust design. I'm sure the fitment will be perfect due to the level of detail they put into everything else. But, there is no guarantee that they have tested it to make sure its sound and tone are tolerable and enjoyable.

Having the gutted y pipe is going to make your exhaust louder than it would with the stock one. Also, if you have an automatic, it will drone a bit more at cruising speends than a 5-6 speed would (due to gearing).

Have you searched the internet for vids?

Here's one: http://video.google.com/videop...96081

HEY DIGITAL BOW -

Where did you find your headlights? I don't want to install my eyelids until I know for sure I can or cannot install new headlights for my 05.

Please get back to me when you can!

Thanks

Thanks for the info, I did check and listen to the vids online, but its hard to determine how loud it really is because I can turn the volume up and down without really knowing where it should be. At times it sounds perfect, other times it seems loud. I really need to see someones car in person I guess, or just get the damn thing and adjust it if i need to via a resonator. Lets see what happens.
