New here and need some advise

I have a 90' z32 she started to make a weird clicking noise kinda like when you take off a coil plug and you here it click only louder she is severely misfiring I tried changing all the boots and spark plugs and but still nothing I read my codes and I have 53* I already know where the leak is coming from but that does not explain this excessively loud clicking noise any ideas I rather fix it my self then take it to a shop but she's my daily and I need her up and running properly

Just an FYI it sounds like it's coming from cylinder 6 or 5

Unfortunately you have given very vague info here with your question, and from that really it could be anything I could guess on but definitely not be accurate.
Clicking noises denote either as you guessed a spark/elec. short, or items loose and rattling just so- two things that can be checked yourself with engine running and a close, careful inspection. We here surely can't do that, especially with no pics.
So, guesses...well, IIRC 53 is EGR? Maybe a short in the EGR harness which is notorious for cracking and breaking? The harness is white covered and on the back of the engine, hard to see ever without moving a lot of wiring and such. Also, maybe the harness holder on the side of the plenum is loose and rattling?
Anyway, we have an online service manual here on the site in the stickies at the top of the page, it will help you find your problems if you are a DIY guy otherwise it's time to send it to your Z specialist of choice...and for best results find a Z32 guy or be very, very sorry most likely with a cheaper, less knowledgeable source such as general repair shops.
