I finally signed on the dotted line and took delivery of a Moonlight White G37xS with Premium, Nav and Sports package. It got some add-ons by the dealer like body color splash guard, cargo net and trunk mat. I know that this post is useless without pictures. This car is for my wife and so far she likes it a lot. Actually, I haven't driven it yet.

My first impression:With all the options/packages included, I can say that it is a better value for money than a BMW 335. I used to own an 07 E92 335i so I think I am in a position to compare the two. Performance wise is different though. I will give the 335 an edge in this aspect. Will the performance edge of a 335 offset the high cost difference between the two? Maybe yes or maybe no. They are all subjective and it is not an exact science. IMHO, I can say that it is a tie, for now. I didn't have any problem with my 335 not even the dreaded HPFP.

The G37x interior has a different looks and feel compared to those European counterparts. They have there own pros and cons but a high class in their own rights. Both cars don't have inferior parts but different ways of designing and ergonomics. I like the G37 console is more user friendly but I prefer the I-Drive. I know I am in a minority with regards to the I-Drive. I prefer the simplicity of one knob to control the system. But I also like the G37 touch screen features.

I will add more reviews as soon she allows me to drive it more.

Updated:I added some pictures below. She was in a hurry to leave this morning so I was not able to get a better one. I added some pictures of our M3 during delivery in Welt. I will also take a better one this weekend.

Hey Welcome to Nico!

Now, what's up with not driving it yet? What has your wife said about it so far?

I know my girl likes to drive the G, it's way smoother than the old 4 banger altima...

She likes it very much. Her everyday car was the Volvo XC90 or Civic LX so it was a huge performance and handling upgrade. This G37x is our 17th car purchase since getting married and, for the first time, I didn't drive it out of the dealer's lot. Maybe I can drive it this weekend or if I need to pick up the kids. I know that I owe all of you some pictures. It was late when we picked it up last night and it was too darn cold (GLOBAL WARMING?). I will try to snap some pictures when she comes home later today and hoping that there will be some sunlight to get a nice shot.

Nice to see another G37 driver around here.

I would be very interested in your opinion of the G37X compared to a non AWD car like the BMW 335 from a dead start.

The 335 (aka E92) is, IMHO, quicker in dead start than a G37x provided that there was a minimal wheel spin. Because the turbo spools so fast at a lower RPM and thereby producing a huge amount of torque at a lower RPM. The G37x power is more linear that is similar to an M3 (E92M) but on a lesser scale. You really have to rev it high but it is more controllable and predictable. As what was mentioned in the M3 Forum, the 335 has an immediate but short thrill at lower RPM compared to an M3 that will build-up as you push the pedal to the metal.

Wow the g37xS don't get the Big 14.0 Brake kit...

I would now not get the x and only Get the S and stick with the 6speed

Nice pictures.

How do you keep your garage so neat and clean?

I've got 30 years of stuff in mine including some parts for my old VW beedle, my 74 RX4 Rotary engine Mazda, and the VW Diesel Rabbit that we got rid of about 18 years ago.I guess I really should get rid of some of that s#it one of these days.

I have to so that both autos can fit inside with ample space to move around. Also to make sure that no stuff will fall on both park autos.
