Heres my new project car. Not much right now, but it will be. By next summer it will be a whole different car. Anyway, on to the pictures. This is how she looks as I bought her. I have changed nothing.

I must say, this thing was a STEAL! I got it for 1200 bucks (originally 1600, but I talked him down). The interior is more or less perfect, no damage considering the age which was surprisingly. The engine is also in great shape. It has under 200K and the only "damage" that I can find is it is leaking oil from what looks like the timing cover. But, I plan to do a full 100K service, tune up, water pump, timing chain, etc. Anyway, Im super excited and cant wait to get into it.

Uea, Im a southerner, lol. Thats my son, Logan. And the Eclipse is a buddy of mine that helped me get it home today.

I have a ton of questions about some things and from what Ive read in my browsing through this past week, this place seems pretty knowledgeable.

Yea, the work will be done by me. Im a mechanic and Im lucky enough to have a full shop at my disposal any time I want to work in it. I also have quite a few connections with parts suppliers, but I plan to check some of the suppliers Ive seen on here.

As for my plans, its going to be street/grip. I live in an area with alot of great roads and I love to drive them. But, this will be daily driven, so it will be a fairly mild build as far as numbers go and it will need to be comfortable and as reliable as possible.
