Hi guys, new to the nissan community.

I just picked up a 92 ka24de. and already having some probs with it. The problem is that when i shift gears, the car kinda revs and then moves slowly. I don't really know how to explain it.

It's like this.

Depress Clutch -> first gear -> let go clutch -> then accelerate. But then the engine revs when i'm accelerating and then the car slowly moves. Same prob for 2nd, 3rd, etc.

Keep in mind that I already changed the Clutch, Throwout bearing, master and slave cylinder. Spent so much money! My mech says that it could be my transmission's?

Please help, thanks in advanced.

if it was a auto i would beleive the transmission, but gear engagementwasnt rough is it. i would say the new clutch might not be broken in properly, inproperly adjuted, contaminated, or just smoked. how does the pedal feel, whats slave cylinder operation like. etc.

Shifting into gears is smooth. The clutch pedal is semi smooth.

So for a new clutch, how do i break in the clutch properly? By inproperly adjusted, do you mean the clutch pedal? or if it's just smoked, what does that mean? sorry for being such a noob. Just want to get this problem fixed. Could it be that it wasn't bleeded properly?

It's weird. Once i start the car and drive it, it's fine. But after maybe 10 mins of driving or maybe less, it starts doing it.
