Uh....no. And don't ask why, there just isn't. I suggest you look into another vehicle if you want a turbo car. What cars do your friends have?ADOversa wrote:Yeah I am going to do tint first for sure, I have a friend that has a tinting business, he tints for many of the high end (bmw, jag, landrover, benz, etc.) dealers in the area, and he is going to tint it... I'm thinking 35% all the way around, and then maybe some black wheels. I don't mean to get ahead of myself, but I am curious if anyone has done a turbo set up on one yet? A bunch of my friends turbo'd their cars, and I just can't keep up now lol.
Well there was one made by Fox Marketing, but that was really the only one. The 6 speed started having issues and he sold it, then the turbo blew. Coud it be done? Probably. Will you spend ungodly amounts of money to make it a little quicker? Yeah.ADOversa wrote:haha I wasn't actually planning on doing it, just kind of curious if it was doable. And they have e30s. One of them did a good job and rebuilt his whole engine so he could run a healthy amount of boost, and the result was a FAST and so far pretty reliable car. The other one just threw in the biggest turbo he could find on ebay... and as you can probably imagine, thats not doing too hot. I had just been talking to them and they said I should turbo it, and so I thought I would ask to see if it could be done.
If you want a long-lasting reliable car, then definitely don't toy with modifying the engine itself.ADOversa wrote:Thanks for the info. I don't want to dump a tonne of cash into it, and of course want it to be reliable, as it is my only car, and plan on doing some road trips with it.
True story. And I take it pretty easy on my car too, it rarely sees anything over 110km/h, and I am on the highway everyday to go to/from school and basically to do anything on the weekend I have to use the highway as well. So yeah I baby it, never rev it past 2500 rpm until the blue light goes out, use the block heater when it hits 0 or less, that kind of stuff.Shad0wXCalibur wrote:
