Usually less than 1/4 the price to buy used since JDM junkyards export to US. A new head or crank would retail in excess of $2,000 each and the long block might be $10,000. VS. $2,000 for an entire JDM used VK engine.

Unfortunately it takes 6-7 years [60k] for many JDM cars to get junked.

The problem with US junkyards as that many newish expensive totalled cars get rebuilt and the title washed and resold so availability is low and prices are high.

US used engines/parts are often excessively worn because of our driving speeds and inferior mainteance [leases] and oil/fuell products.

Luckily Q, M45, FX45 off sufficient volume choices when taken together.

First thing, the F50's never came in Q45t's. Only Q45 and Sports.

Second. Why do you need to replace the heads? Or what makes you think you need to replace the heads?
