Hi bro.

The throw on the projector beam is always more focus n therefore the

distance will not be very far but people will notice you from far as the lights

reflect different colour when the road is uneven. As for normal headlight

beam, throw will be further cos headlight is bigger as they r not being focus

like projector...

RussianBull,

Make sure you update us regarding how good they work over the next couple months, I was reading about the manufacturer http://www.eagleeyes.com.tw on Scionlife some member reported that the halo ring as well as l.e.d. gave them problems. Just want to make sure that these are good functional lights not just for looks.. Man i'm getting old choosing function over cosmetics

If they do turn out to be made well I might pick up a pair just to have for the future.

You have any daytime shots of your new headlight installed. Also, are your reflectors on the side clear, where as the pics of the other car look amber?

OK, all done. Woke up early cause it feels like 95 by the time it 9am.

Got the install done with relative ease and here are some pics. The halos are very bright so its hard to get a good picture.

low beam---> H3 HID 5000Khigh beam---> H1 halogen

I think the black and white contrast well together. Any questions or requests for more pics. JUST ASK.

Tsk, tsk. All of this hype about projectors, but no example of the beam patterns and cutoffs? This is very important.

Not bad, but there's a pretty bad hot spot in the center.

Can u just run these head lights with regular bulbs? I would assume you would just need to get another bulb for the highbeam though...

They come with regular halogen bulbs, added the hid kit to it myself.

They are adjustable. Two screws on each headlamp. One adjusts height. The other i can't tell. Once its installed its almost impossible to get to unless i jam my hand in and turn it with my fingers. Did that and am not sure what it did.

No, the factory switch is setup to have either the highs on or the lows. Both do NOT turn on at the same time. Tinkering with the wiring may help to do that but i personally don't care too.
