new headlight needed on '04 G35x - quick question

One of the headlights died on my 2004 G35x, so I'm taking the car in tomorrow to get a new bulb and/or ballast. I was curious if there is anything different than standard OEM that I should consider, such as brighter more powerful lights. Obviously I would then have to replace both bulbs.

personally, I dont see a need in upgrading the bulbs, but some do anyway because they want a little more power. Hope your ballast isn't dead. New ones are like $500

I recommend going with the 06 lights. They are a big upgrade. Otherwise, just use the OEM bulbs.

2006 G35X headlight assemblies are not interchangeable with 2004 G35X unless you change bumper, grill, and hood at the same time.

I would recommend upgrading from the 4300K bulbs to 6000K. The color looks much better IMO. Also, if you're willing to spend a little extra the PIAA bulbs are better but are expensive.

Are you sure? I thought they stayed the same until 07?
