So I bought i new header cause I know the oem one causes problems... anyways... the header I got now has the 2 o2 sensor bungs on it... I was told to get an o2 sensor adapter so that I dont get a SES... my question is which one do i put the adapter on?? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Mike

the one that puts the o2 sensor further away from the exhaust flow, so the it doesnt read the same levels as the first o2 sensor. and would you happen to know if there is a way around the alternator so that I dont have to take it off during the install. and if there isnt a way around it... is there a "how to" on installing the header?? thanks Mike

Ahh, that method usually works. Just making sure it wasn't one of the hogwash adapters floating around.

The alternator is in an awful spot. I'm not certain of this, but it seems like you ought to be able to come from the bottom. You may have to snake it a bit to get around the motor mount crossmember, though it'd be easy to pop it loose and for more room if need be... certainly easier than taking off the alternator. Heck, you may even be able to snake it from up top, but that'd be a stretch.
