I'd say try it if you were just replacing your halogens and were running lazy-eyed or if you were rocking a Silvia hood, deleting your pop-ups altogether. But that will look like *** with the SuperMade buckets, IMO...

Maybe those lights would look good if you went this route...

I'd go with either 2 rectangular auxilary driving lights, like the foglights you can get at Autozone. Or one of the Autozone lights with a projector, like TSX or something...

The problem is that you're not going to get jack squat for light output. Your best bet is to either make a set of lights with some junkyard projectors and housings or hack up a set of triple projector Sil lights to "fit."

I've been thinking of doing the Sil hood thing for years on a pig nose bumper. I won't divulge my whole scheme but it should look better than the red car or any cheap supermade garbage.

Or, it'll look like crap. Who knows.

That makes me wonder why I've never seen SuperMade setups at night...

But I found this on Ziliva...

Raceon replica with $50 Hella driving lights, bright as hell. Only issues I got is a small crack on one of the lens. Other than that no issues whatsoever.

Good Luck!

Those are some nice firebirds...In all seriousness though, I'd use a projector/halogen combo and find someone who could help me make a housing for it

I like the pop-ups, and is one of the main reasons I got an s13, the but those don't look that bad.The only thing keeping me from getting those is that it would make it kinda look like a '92 Camaro. I don't like American muscle or mullets never did.

Definitely looks good, but those brick driving lights aren't all that bright if you are going to put them in there. the ones OP linked look ok and seems to have a decent output.
