new head 165psi in all 4 lots of smoke at 3000

This is my problem.Me and my friend just replaced the cylinder head on my ka24e and it smokes real bad when it gets to around 3000rpm.I mean like huge cloud. I checked the compression and found 165 psi in all four cyl. I would assume its the rings except the cylinder walls still have the nice factory x like marks in them wich would make me think they are alright. if anyone has any ideas please let me know any imput would be greatly appreciated. did you do a leakdown test to check the vavle seals? THis can cause a smoking problem even with good compression.

this may sound silly but how do you do a leakdown test?

you take a gauge similar to a compression tester, and you fill the cylinder up with pressure and check for a drop in pressure. You should refer to nissan service manual for exact specs, but if you see a lose in pressure over a a few seconds, then the valve guides or seals are worn and this would be a place for oil to leak throught into the combustion chamber and cause oil burning. Are you sure it is not a coolant leak? What color is the smoke? Does it happen at idle. Does your oil level drop significantley?

It doesnt do it at idle.It only does it when I reach around 3000rpm and up.The smoke looks bluish but if Im sitting still and I rev it real quick it gets black smoke in it also. I have a compression tester do you know of any way I could regulate the air in if I just undo the quick connect on the gauge so I can hook the air compresor up?Is 165psi alright? I have to wait to get a fsm because my local nissan dealer doesnt have any in stock and the other one I will not go to because I took my car there not too long ago and one of the employees stole my eclipse tv out of my dash and the service manager said there was no way one of his guys would do that and they wouldnt help me
