Sup guys? I bought a 97 Ex cab last year and made the last payment 2 months ago. It has a 5 spd with 145,000 on the clock. The Po was a retired Texas State Trooper and he took good care of the truck.

Recent changes includes, a tube tow bumper off an 88 4x4, Pioneer Usb/Ipod deck, kicker 4.25 in the doors, and kicker 6.5 in the rear. I just got done replacing all the belts, hoses, new cooper cs4 tires, t-stat, alt, and wp.. I have always wanted a HB and now know why all the HB owners rave about this little machine that's so well built. Sure it doesn't ride like my caddy, but I can fix this truck blind folded on the side of the road. Btw my name is Garrett and hope to chat with other HB owners...

Pics coming as soon as I get them up on PhotoBucket... :naughty:

Edit: Hope I did this right? Pic added.... It was coooold and windy, so only one pic. LOL

THX! Yup no rust, but if you look closer at the hood there is some oxidation from the Unforgiving Texas sun, as a result most of the hoses on the evap system will also will have to be replaced due to their brittleness. Not expensive, but time consuming  Its all good though, truck is paid for, looks nice, and runs good. I gotta get some sleep, taking a load to Boise tonight. Peace Man :dblthumb:

That's a sharp HB you have there. Welcome to NICO! We have quite a few nice looking HBs on this site and everyone here is eager to lend a hand. I saw one that looked just like yours the other day. Too bad I was driving my Fronty and not my HB otherwise it would have been cool to have two HBs heading down the same street together.

LOL!! Thanks for the welcome. One thing I noticed about running into other HB's in town is that usually I get the "Wuss Up" look from them. Now on the other hand, when crossing paths with a Taco... Well its usually race on!! :chuckle: They always gotta prove the Yota.. Lol!! Anyway Im tired and getting ready to fall asleep. U guys have a good one. Zzzzz

Ya.. You can barely see, but a very kind 88 has enabled my 97 to live a longer life. Haha :lolling: I love this little brute. Never going back to a full size. I plan to go back to the JY on payday and perform surgery on the 88. :naughty:
