They make great wheels to not care about.

As for the OP's question. Those are simply not going to cut it. You need better offsets.

Just emphasizing the best response that I totally agree with. Thus i'll be going with sportmaxes for daily driving.

I dont get how you calculated a 30mil spacer and a 9" wide wheel to exual an 11in wide wheel. Thats just not real.

anywho.

Those will fit the rear nicely with stock fenders and a bit of drop. Im pretty sure the fronts will be hitting the struts.

I say get rid of the fronts and get something narrower or something. idk.

I would just sell the wheels all together and get something more kewlerer.

I've got 30mil spacers. It's converts into, like 1.5 inches almost. It won't make the wheels 11inchers. But it'll make his 9.5 stick out like 11 inchers...

I do recall that my statement was that I am not a fan of sportmax wheels. If you choose to paint your car pink and get a giant bow on it that is fine by me. I think the reason I dont like them is because everyone around my area seems to have them, and they don't have a look that I really like and when you see them next to a really nice wheel like Work, or BBS the quality really shows.

but I definitely understand getting wheels that you can not care about. That is a good reason for them. to each his own.

but to get 18's at that price is great any way you look at it

thats weird...I didn't know adding a 30mm spacer to lower the "active" offset would make a rim grow wider??

I think what dude meant to say was it would stick out like an 11" rim maybe?

My friend has the same rims on his 13 with 25mm spacers up front and they sit really nice. a lil bit of poke outside the slightly rolled fender, but that is on a 13. unsure of s14s. But if you run those w/o a spacer it wont look good. and if you are going wide body in the rear, maybe these rims arent what you are lookin for. w/o the widebody, they'd be clean.

Yes. Hence...

So... are you saying that a 9.5 wheel is NOT wide enough to fill an s14's wheel well w/o spacers?

I don't think that right. I saw a zenki last week with the same wheels Sportmax 006 18x9.5 but with -15 offset in the rear and his fitment was just fine w/o spacers.

didnt read that post, sorry broham.

damn, find that guy and ask him where the hell he got 006 with a -15 offset cuz i'd buy em right now even tho i dont need em. with a -15 offset, those would fit fine all around no problem.

I never said 9.5" wheel wouldnt' "fill" an s14 wheel well. I'm saying if its for a "widebody" rear end, it will look like garbage with a +35 offset, even if it is 9.5" wide.

Oh ok. Gotcha. That guy I mentioned isn't on nico much. Honestly, I don't really know him and I'd never really considered sportmax's until I saw his. But they looked fine. I don't know what the big deal is. I'd like to know how much they weigh b4 I think about buying though. Their website doesn't list that...

depending on who you ask. Sportmax hater will say they weigh 30lbs. people who love em will say they weigh 19lbs. People who just want to weigh em are somewhere in the middle. I just dont care cuz i can drift just fine on em.
