I just recently purchased a 2012 Versa, It is an S model. I was just wondering if anyone knew how to get it to go into program mode for the keyless entry. It did not come with keyless remotes. I have searched all over and not found out how to get it to work if it does not flash the hazard lights while trying to program them. I've compared the fuses and box behind the glovebox to my friends versa, who has keyless, and they seem the same. Thanks for any help and sorry for the long winded first post...

Hopefully it's still the same, but I've had this in my favorites for a long time. I need to buy another remote as a spare key for my car.

I personally have not tried this procedure myself, so use it at your discretion.

If it is a Versa sedan "S", it won't have the capability of remote entry as the locks in that model are manual. In the hatchback, they may be power, but I'm not familiar with the hatchback's equipment level.

If you have a 2012 Hatchback S, you need to have the Plus Package to have remote keyless entry. If your steering wheel has cruise control on the right side of the horn, then you have the Plus Package (also known as the Power Plus Package in older models, although power windows and locks are standard now).
