Hey guys Im new to the club and I had a few questions for you. I have an 03 g35 coupe and I have been having some break problems. Right now my breaks sound like they are dragging all the time and the pads are pretty new, very annoying. I started looking online and people said its not uncommon to have to change the breaks every 10000 miles. Is there anything I could do to eliminate having to change my breaks all the time? Thanks for the help.

Welcome to nico,

03 known have issues with brake. I think the 10k miles not good for your brake life. Maybe time to upgrade to a premium brake set. What kind of pads are you using?

Im not sure because I just bought it. What would you recommend? My other pads are still pretty good it just they are dragging all the time. Would you recommend changing out everything or just the pads?

It's hard to tell without seeing it. If this would be your first brake change on this car than I recommend to take it to somewhere for a check out.

hmm... possibly incorrectly installed return spring? After a 10-15 min drive pull over and feel all 4 rims and see how much heat build up you got. If the lug nuts and rims feel too hot to touch then you definitely have brakes dragging. Possibly from the parking brake? Needs adjustment or the return spring is not tensioned.
