hello everyone, i just picked up a 95 240sx. some friends and i were at the salvage yard looking for a couple of parts for a car i am repairing. we were just about to leave and a woman pulled up towing the 240 behind her, with a electrical cord.................. anyways. we approached them and asked what they were doin with it. they said they were going to scrap it because it quite running. so, i was able to buy it before it was crushed. it has a couple of dents in it, but i own a small paint shop so thats no big deal.

so, now, i dont know what i want to do with it. i had just helped my brother buy a 93 240 for his first car. i am considering doing a rebuild on the outside and convert the front to the later 97-98 front end. maybe doing a rb20det or something. i dunno. but i got it cheap and could turn a profit on it, or maybe build it and make me a little show car. but anyways, i plan to hang around and learn a little.

You just go around the internet picking up the slang that 14 year old gamer kids have grown tired of now, or what?

No, an old wrestler used to say that years ago to his opponents.

But It would be that 14 year old thing if I put it in all caps.

I haven't seen too many S13's with the S14 kouki front end. . .But to each his own.

Welcome to the site, BTW! You will find out quickly what flaming is, unless you learn about the search button.

That is a pretty marvelous story, I'm glad to see you saved a 240, and plan to actually do something with it. Do you know why it doesn't run? This would be the perfect time (while you have some of the big names in here) to give you a possible cause of it "not running."

Whatever you do with it, good luck! Hope to read your build thread in the near future!

The car he just got was a 95 (S14) It's the one he was talking about putting the kouki front end on. His brother has the S13..

rhino, Welcome to NICO. I doubt there is any question you can come up with for your or your brother's 240 that can't be found here. (If it can't be found, a few of us, at the least, will know the answer.) Hope you stick around a while and eventually have a build thread. MAYBE YOU AND YOUR BROTHER COULD HAVE A BUILD OFF. S14 Vs S13. That would be a pretty interesting thread to read.
