Hi there. :wavey:

My name is Ken and I'm from Milwaukee Wisconsin. I'm a structural designer as well as make stickers. Just this February I was in a car accident. I had a 1988 Pontiac Fiero Formula, but someone decided to rear end me and throw me over a snow bank into the woods. I was fine, but the car wasn't. Since it was my only car running at the moment, I had to quickly get a new daily car. So I bought a 2004 Infiniti G35 Coupe. Don't worry too much about the story behind the accident. I joined due to the new car that now adore a lot and I hope to meet new people that are on here that are in my area. Also to make new friends along the way. :)

Here is my G35:

I know what I will say will be a "Debbie Downer" for the car enthusiasts about this car, but yes, this is the 5-speed auto w/ selective gear mode. Reason being is that this car is a daily for all four seasons. Plus there are times where I would just like to slap it into drive and be lazy cruising around. :chuckle: And also, I have another Fiero that is a 5-speed manual and contains a Chevy 350 small block. Yes, I get a lot of Fiero jokes (Fauxarri, fire, MR2, Ferrari, ect... ) I can deal wit it.

Glad something good came out of the accident!

Also- Fieros are sweet. Did you avoid T Top models on purpose?
What V8 is in there? Northstar? TPI? LSx?

Welcome. Nice looking Fiero. I actually liked the V6 Fiero's, as they had some badly needed torque the 4 bangers seem to lack. I can imagine with a V8 it's even more fun. I'm also curious about which V8 you used. Did you upgrade the brakes yet?

Actually the Formula used to be my grandma's until she could no longer get in and out of it and after my grandpa passed away. As for the V8, we had to decipher what this engine came out of. And as for what we can find through only one human source from the ID number on the block, this 350sb came out of a 1990 pick-up truck. The 350 I believe is a gen I version, and this was dyno'd in 2007 putting about 236hp/278lb.ft torque. Only mods done to the engine were heads and holly 4-barrel carb.

I haven't upgraded the brakes yet. Right now we re working to get the car fixed and back on the road due to a rotted out engine cradle, rewire the engine and tune it to run smoothly. Exhaust is another thing as it is LOUD. I didn't do the engine swap on this car, I bought it this way for $500.
