Car: 1990 JDM Fairlady Z32 (RHD)

Post

:) Hi,

My name is Joe. I live in Seattle and just bought a JDM 1990 Fairlady Z32 from japan. I am taking delivery of the car in mid december. Really looking forward to driving it as no one ever believes me when I say its right hand drive and directly from japan. It's a non-turbo, but looks really clean and rated high on inspection. If there are any local owners I would love to hang out. Plan on going after the suspension first.

Thanks,

Joe

Welcome Seattle!
Sounds like you have some fun times ahead, but be aware that your '90 will have some things to look after even in good condition such as the brakes and injectors, and many harnesses that will be or soon be corroded here in wet old Washington State.
Check out the "everything you need to know about the Z32" sticky on the top of the page for a lot of valuable info and advice, and as always post her up when you get her or do anything to her, and ask away with any questions!

Welcome to the group CirriusImports!

Not sure what the laws are in Seattle, but I know here in South Dakota that you have to register the car as a certain class and get some kind of permission from the state to drive a right-hand-drive. It's really annoying, but they let us get away with tons of other stuff, like no decibel laws or emissions testing, so no one really complains lol. Might be something to double-check if you haven't already. Hate to see someone get a pile of tickets, or worse-yet have their car taken away over something stupid like that.
