What's up NICOclub?

Quick intro: I'm in the Air Force stationed in NJ. I drive a '11 A/C SR. I bought the car brand new and have not done anything to it besides a 20% tint all around, drop-in K&N air filter, and regular maintenance (oil and brake changes).

I'm just here to get some insight on modifications, mostly suspension and wheels. I'm not trying to make my A/C "fast", it's a FWD V6 Auto lol.

Looking forward to hearing from everyone.

Welcome!

Look up the Racingling Y-pipe for the 3.5 coupe (all year models), and an exhaust of your choice and you're pretty much done with the bolt on exhaust parts (headers are expensive and I don't think anyone makes them for the cramped engine bay in the 3.5 coupe). Also if you're looking to make it handle better, Stillen or RL sway bar and endlinks will also help. A 1-1.5" drop won't hurt much either with handling and looks (fender wheel gap).

Mine was a CVT coupe too (as pictured below) and I enjoyed it thoroughly. To this day I claim it's the best car (in terms of overall experience) I've had in 13 years of driving. I put 103k miles on it before selling it and mostly the only thing that bothered me was that 2 of the shocks seemed to give out and leak sooner on mine, out of warranty. I kept up with all the maintenance and it never gave me any problems out of the ordinary (had a dead battery once...given the Texas heat).

Enjoy!

Thanks!

I was looking at that Y-Pipe combined with the Top Speed cat-back. That would probably be the extent of the performance mods outside of upgraded brakes & suspension work.

I'm also looking at getting the Tein lowering springs (2 inch drop) with a 19x10 +35 wheel setup.

There's also the Stillen Pulley which reduces drivetrain loss. That and the BD tuner for a quick flash is good too.

Welcome
Definitely upgrade the suspension and lower it.
Not much else to add after everyone else.

Get a RL y-pipe with a borla exhaust. Sounds mean! And yeah I'd go with coilovers, I regret buying springs.
