Welcome Mike!

:wavey:

Just wanted to say welcome, but I really can't answer your question because I went the other way. I traded my 08 coupe for a Z! ;)

you can get a xS but im not sure if the xS has all the actual sport features besides the different seats, paddle shifters, bigger rims, and aero kit. The RWD S has upgraded brakes, limited slip diff, quicker steering, and a stiffer suspension. While the AWD versions of the G do not get all the real sport featues. Thus i didnt buy a 2010 G37xS because it was all astetics not the actual equipment. I believe the new 2011+ G37xS actually have the full sport package. so check and make sure what ever year you looking to buy of the AWD version has the actual package and not just looks.

Personally the sport suspension on the G was too harsh for my taste, didnt care if i got bigger rims or not, and you couldnt get wood accents with a sport package. So i added the OEM aftermarket paddle shifters, aftermarket brakes/rotors, and a front struct tower bar for less than what the sport package costs. just get prem and nav package and upgrade the rest from the aftermarket... thats just my two cents.

I looked at the 335i too...it has a much more basic, almost utilitarian feel. The interior is smaller and if you get any options, it was around 10k to build it to the G37 specs.

Unless you live in snow country, you really don't need the X.

Whether buying a coupe or a Sedan, the X will be the best option just because you can't beat the ATTESSA system. You can get either in sport model, which in this case the Coupe also includes the sport brakes, paddle shifters & seats.
