Welcome!

If your CEL is on, stop by your favorite parts store and have them scan for codes. It may well be the O2 sensor but a code check will tell you for sure.

Sweet I'll have to do that tomorrow!!! Is there a forum where people sell parts/rims? Or is it pretty random by chance.

Look in to the Technical, Classified and Marketplace sections.

Or just check the codes yourself. It only takes a few seconds to put the ECM (ECCS control module) into the diagnostic test mode, switch the ignition on, and count the flashes of the MIL. Then just look the code(s) up and you're done. It's simple.

The procedure is detailed in section EC of the FSM. You can retrieve the codes yourself in less time than it takes to drive to an auto parts store (unless you live right next door to one, of course). But, after you've done it a couple times, you'll see that it only takes seconds to read the codes out yourself.

Your location would be helpful.

It's usually best to get wheels through a local member, brand new or through Craigslist. Unless you are looking for a specific, high end wheel, it's not worth the shipping to bother.

If you are in the Northwest, I am going to sell my 97 SE wheels (in my signature) with good tires.

Bank 2 is also known as Left Bank for cylinders 2-4-6. That bank is towards the radiator as opposed to Bank 1 (Right Bank for cylinders 1-3-5) which is towards the firewall. You need the Front O2 sensor. Go to page EC-154 in the attached link to the FSM for additional info about location and additional diagnostic.

Best pricing for O2 sensors (and spark plugs) is from our NICO sponsor, sparkplugs.com a.k.a. NGK.com. You have a choice of the more expensive Bosch (@ $90), or the less expensive (@ $68 or less) Denso or NGK. The part number for the Front O2 sensors, left/right, are the same (rear O2 sensors, after the main cat, the part numbers are different depending on the production year).
