Hey guys...just got a 92 300zx and was looking for a forum that I can learn lots from! I sold my WRX and the 300zx just came along! She's in very nice shape, just needs a brake job and a power steering hose(thats what the seller told me cause its super hard to turn the steering wheel!)

Here are some pic's. It will need a new paint job and some hood/front bumper alignment due to a fender bender.

It came with.....JDM Tail lights and center panelJDM clear front turning signalsSPLparts.com polished gauge bezelsNEW OEM Leather shift knob & boot NEW OEM embroidered "Z" mats NEW OEM Twin Turbo front fascia

I wish it was a TT!!! Maybe you can help me. The previous owner I bought it from told me that it needs a power steering hose. I can barely turn the steering wheel. So do I need a power steering hose or a power steering pump? And how hard is it to change out?? And also is my car suppose to have some kind of valve cover or manifold cover that says Nissan or something?? Thanks

Ramon

Welcome to NICO! Your drivers side headlight seems to be misaligned, which could be caused by a previous accident, which could be why you have a TT front fascia. So your Z might of been hit in the drivers-side front area.

There is a plastic piece that goes over the throttle cables, all it is is cosmetic:

There is something about that front end that doesn't look right. Is there any record of it being in an accident? It just seems like the front wheel doesn't sit in the center of the fender. Maybe just me or the pic.

What part of Texas? What is CC...Corpus?

Up here in San Antonio. Check out texasracingscene.net to see if there are any Z clubs in your area. It's always good to have some folks with Z knowledge in your area for questions and concerns. I believe there are a few good guys in the Corpus area if that is where you are at.

You just want the little plastic cover that says Nissan on top of the intake (aka, intake cover)? They are all over eBay if it is the same one we are talking about.

How many do you need? and what color....red or black?

I got ......like 8 or so off the top of my head?

Shoot me a call and I'll get your addy and ship it to you or something like that. Cover the shipping and it's yours.

Don't understand. Are they staying on or something other than normal operation?
