Welcome to NICO

While I'm not a Sentra guy (tho I did own a '86 GXE for a couple years) have you considered a VQ35 swap? I've seen a few of those in Sentra's and they seem baddass.

Welcome to Nico! As audtatious said, go with the VQ35 if you still have time to change your mind. I've seen videos on youtube of sentra's with the VQ and they are beastly.

While the VQ is beastly, it's expensive and pretty much puts the car as purely a straight-line performer. It really depends on your goals.

The VE is a darn good engine and, IMO, is probably easier and more fun to drive than a VQ day-to-day or on a track.
