Where to begin?

Essentially, i bought this car about a month ago, mid january.
It was already SR swapped, but they did a terrible job.
When i bought it, the car had a laundry list of problems.

Wiring harness/trans harness was F'd up beyond belief
Powersteering wasnt connected
They were using the wrong type of air filter (oil based)
They were running the stock fuel pump
The car had the stock 240sx exhaust
They had some ghetto manual boost controller
Motor was boosting at 12lbs on the sidemount and stock exhaust!
Heater hoses were kinked and ran incorrectly
The car had a blown strut.
Vaccum lines were not run from the oil catch can

So i bought this car as a project.
Surprisingly enough however, the car passed the compression test and leakdown test with excellent results.

So, i just picked the car up from the shop yesterday. Within the month ive owned the car, ive added the following goodies:

New Complete wiring and trans harness
New powersteering belt
New Vacuum lines
New fuel lines
New heater hoses
OEM SR Oil pan
OEM SR Fan shroud
Miata battery
NGK Spark plugs
Koyo Radiator
Samco rad hoses
New intake (dont remember the brand)
Isis 3" downpipe
Isis 3" testpipe
Blitz 3" Nur Spec exhaust
Walbro 255/lph fuel pump
300zx TT Fuel filter
BC Racing BR coilovers

So for now, i think ive made pretty decent progress. I also ripped out the backseats, and all lining in the trunk. Ive attached photos.
My plans for the car by the end of the spring:

Blitz LM FMIC - within a month
SPL s13 tie rod kit (inner, outer, rear upper). - within a month
SPL Tension rods - within a month
Tanabe sway bar - within a month
R33 Front brakes - Hopefully soon
Z32 Rear brakes
Wheels - leaning towards Volk TE37's.
S15 Dif.
gt2871r - that might be more into the summer.

So this is my project a month in. Let me know what you think.

I would go with the suspension tecnecits sway bar kit MUCH better cheaper and comes with new endlinks too

SPL stuff is okay but but can get much better stuff for a creaper price ie: circut sports, tein, ect ect

I would personally go with the ISIS intercoller setup they flow the EXCAT SAME as the greddy hsk and blitz for half the price. I have used the isis one on a 450WHP s14 with NO problems

but other then that good luck with your build but if you have the extra cash go for namebrand stuff but like i said something namebrand isn't the best way to go

SPL is pretty much industry standard, not even comparable to circuit sports. They've been making products for 240's since before circuit sports/godspeed and all these other cheap chinese crap slingers even came on the scene.

StrokerAce, looks like you're off to a good start man.

Welcome to the site, also from Philly. And I agree with SX appeal, SPL is an innovator often copied. One of the best arm companies out there, however ST and whitelines sway bars are also great.

Looking good. Glad you bought a 240 to get your hands dirty, because unfortunately a lot of them have been neglected. Take the time to do things right. And to the guy that said circuit sports/tein is much better and for cheaper uhhhh :poke: , you need to do better research. SPL i believe is by far some of the best suspension pieces out there and their service is outstanding. I know from experience that he doesn't put a part out if it does not compete with the best e.g. cusco

Anyway the car is looking good, glad you got the paint removed from the bumper. TE37's in bronze would be epic
