will a 96 engine 2.4 fit a 82 truck 2.2 i think and if it will what other things do i need to know.

Hi Mike!

Sure, it'll fit physically.

Make SURE you get the engine, trans, ECU, harness, and all peripheral parts from the engine donor vehicle, though!

It'll fit, but you'll have to do some wiring to make it work, maybe build some motor/trans mounts.
