i got one when i turned 16, i haven't had any major issues with the car other then having to replace an ignition. The car itself has always worked amazing.

rust, they are pretty dependable cars in general, the rear crossmember bushings can wear out after 20 or 30 years ont he t top cas, the steering rack gets leaky when people add power steering fluid to the system (it uses dextron type atf) it has mechanical liftersthat need adjusting from time to time
