new guy needing help swaping a motor

hello all.. i have a 240sx se fastback with a lock up motor its a ka24de i have found a 96 240sx ka24de motor and trainee will it swap out with no problems .. if not then what i need to do to make it work plzzzzz help me

What year is your car? I would guess its prior to '96. 96 up are obd11 systems so the ecu is different. Are you swapping manual to manual or auto to auto?

I'm wondering the samething. I have a 89 and would like to put the newer engine in it also.

I believe what your going to have to do is use the old distributor and top intake manifold. The search will yield several threads on this swap. Prior to 96, its a direct swap.
