New guy Just got an I35!

Hey there,

I'm new around here. I just bought a I35 two weeks ago. It has the sport package in there, and I am about to start modding it to my taste. I will install 20" rims for the summer.

I looked just about everywhere, and I just can't find a simple kit to change my interior's color. I'd like to have all the gauges, and clock light changed to a blue light instead of that boring color lol.

I am also looking for an exhaust mod, but I am unsure of what might fit on this..

I'm pretty sure that with the I35, changing dash color involves swapping of many, many, many compact LEDS, and isn't something that can really come in a kit. If you're good with fine soldering you can probably do it yourself, though.

As for the exhaust, I'll let the other 5.5 gen guys chime in.

Yeah this is what I thought.. Gonna be a tough job to do by myself. Last thing I soldered was a chip in my Xbox and I fried it :P

I really have no idea on which exhaust would give me a nice rumble sound...

I was wondering... I can't find any exhausts to fit for this car.

My dad told me that (he's a mechanic) this car will ping if I put in another exhaust because of the air flow that is not exact as nissan's specs. Is that true?

The clock is easy, its just 2 led's. Do a search to figure out the type you need cuz i dont know off hand.. I did it and they look sick.. The guages are nearly impossible to change though.. They use what is basically a small florescent tube, not led's

Cattman makes a nice catback exhaust. I had it on my Maxima.
