Hey guy's I've been doing alot of research on my car and really can't find anything i dont like. I have a 92 240 hatchback i got from sum old lady who babied the car. I've been reading how civics and integ always want to race and stuff its a lil dif where i live( avon parkFL close to sebring) i have old times in hot rods and the normal civics and stuff. The only thing i wish the car could have hitch on the car to pull my jet ski but i love the car. My step dad used to have a 2003 nissan ser spev v which i know you all have herd of. Well just b4 he got rid of it we did a lil race, i was pretty shocked that my stock 240 was maybe a hair slower then his $18k car. know i have cold air intake and lookin and sum other cheap stuff to do any tips you guys can offer would be nice.

Welcome to NICO.Got any pics?Headers to exhaust are always easy ways to make a few more horses, if you wanna stay cheap. Low-mass underdrive pulleys are also a cheap way to go.There's a niffy little 'search' button up at the top right of the screen, you can find tons of threads on the same topic.

i think once i got rims it'll look nice and clean and im keepin it sleeper, when i out my exhaust im goin to make this peace that goes inbetwen the cat ann back pipeing that has like a motor that turns a valve to go from 3in to 1.5 in so its not that loud tried it out in a lawn mower and i love it so its goin on my car( crazy but its pretty cool when your sittin on the line bone quiet and a civic with a huge trash can pulls up you flip a switch and show them who's boss)im 16 wut can i say

Ahh i remember my first 240 when i was 16.. o wait that was last year.... Nice car keep it clean ... non bashing but fyi thats not a cold air intake 1 the intake is inside your engine bay which is hot... 2nd it passes by the radiator and such making the air hotter... anyways good luck with your "invention" thing sounds cool

Looks good. The brown interior with the green looks good. Then again... I wear brown so don't listen to my opinion. I'm wierd.

Your paint looks better than mine. So don't feel to bad about it.

welcome to nico! Nice car, love the color. Looks immaculate inside and out. I too am in florida(30 min. north of daytona) and have a 240 as my first car. I bought it from a middle aged woman who owned it from new, so it was babied! Ive only had her 3 months. Heres a pic of mine:

when i first found out i had to buy my own car like my brother 5 years ago, and pay for my own insurance, i started saving my money. Then at 16, i was able to afford my mint zenki, I didn't want you to think my parents bought it b/c thats the easy way out. It is in their name but its all mine

I wish you the best of luck on the new ride

The older generation puts this one to shame, they were all driving stick before automatics were even evented (or common)

NICE 240! It's very clean, if i were you the first modification you should make is TIRES. Not some cheapo-futurama's or something. I'm talking serious rain tires. These cars are light and can get tail happy if your'e not careful.

You've really never seen that color combo before? my car was like that(now with black/tan interior), my roommate's car is like that. anyways,

Keep it clean, save money for the "right" mods which I'm sure you'll come to find as you search through these pages. and decide what direction you go with your car. since you said auto-cross I would definately say tires and suspension. Welcome to nico

Hey, I have had my 240 for near a year and I still have the casette deck that came with it. Instead of buying a CD player, I record songs onto tape with my home stereo

doesn't look bad just need a rear bumper repaint, black interior and maybe at least some SE 7 spokes.

Nice car, man, and welcome to NICO.

FYI, A'pexi makes a device with a valve that you can control manually or electronically that does exactly what you're looking for. They're a bit pricey right now, being that they're brand new for the 05 year, but you should at least check it out, if only to get an idea of what you'll need to pull together to make your own from scratch. Here's the link: http://www.apexi-usa.com/produ...Num=1Again, welcome to NICO and clean car! Keep the brown/tan interior!

I just have better things to spend my money on now. If the tape deck goes, no radio.
