I had one back in the 70's. My grandfather purchased one that same year new. When he died, my aunt took it. They hauled things in it now and then, but it sits a lot. I talked to her this week, and she asked me if I wanted it. OF COURSE!

She wasn't home today, so I stopped by and snapped a few photos. It certainly doesn't look like I remember it when granddaddy brought it home, but it still looked familiar. Not sure what I am getting myself in to. She said the battery is dead, but it was replaced not too long ago. Interior needs some work for sure. I am sure this is the original miles on it.

What do you think? Worth salvaging? I may need some help from this forum.

I want it for casual hauling, etc. I'd really like to fix it up without a lot of cash outlay.

Any idea what year this is? I haven't seen the paperwork yet. I think it was a '75.

Welcome to the forum... nice truck.

If you look under the hood you should see a plate with the engine size and date of manufacter. I think it is a 73-74 based on the vents on the door posts.

It just took time for the paint to dry :-)

Too bad the dash is cracked so bad. Wonder if I can find a cover of some kind.
