Hey all,I'm new here. My name is Brian, and the wife and I are looking at 2 different Armadas. Let me know what you guys think...

2007 LE40k miles4x4LeatherBose Stereo

Or

2008 SE14k miles2wdCloth, but they'll swap out for leatherNo Bose Stereo

Now, our concern is this, we love the 2008 dash with the large LCD screen. But, the 2007 4x4 is much more rare (at least that we can see) and it has the Bose.

So what do you guys think? We do live out in the middle of nowhere Texas, and I'm a real estate agent so 4x4 will definitely help as most of my listings are ranches.

Did the 2007's and 2008's both have the ability to store your music form your Ipod, or was it only the ones with the Bose? I'm at a loss for information.

HELP!!

Thanks in advance for helping a No0b.

First off, welcome to NICOclub! Glad to have you here in the forum!

That is a tough call, living here in Wisconsin, I would never purchase anything other than a 4x4. The '08 is completely restyled inside, and there are some changes outside. If it were me, I would keep searching and try to find an '08 with the features you want, maybe with a few more miles on it to keep the price down. Otherwise if you like the '07 as it is, go for that. Only the '08 with the Navigation has the hard drive for music and the slot for the Compact Flash Card.

Hope this helps and good luck!

Cool info. Thanks man. We are still looking. I really want 4x4, but I also need to start making some reliable income so we can justify the car payment. Real Estate isn't paying much around here. LOL

Thanks a lot for the help and I'll be back here as soon as we grab one!!

Good luck with your search and money my man. My family owns a real estate appraisal business here in the Nashville area (always been a booming real estate market with the immense amounts of neighborhoods being built alllll the time) and it has been absolutely absurd recently. It's been completely and utterly depressing. I hope things work out for you man, and good choice on an Armada, they are wonderful vehicles, and sexy as hell!

Well guys, I am now a part of the Armada Owners Family! Today we picked up our 2008 LE. Specs below...

2008 LE FFV 2WDTimberline (Dark Green/Grey)Tan LeatherBench 2nd Row SeatNavigationDVDLoaded

31k on the clock and looks like they never stepped foot in the vehicle. LOL I'll post pics tomorrow when the sun is out. It's been a long day, but we are really diggin the truck.

Quick question... Are there any Free Mods for this thing, or mods on the cheap? My background is I worked as the Sales / Advertising / Marketing Manager for a Ford performance shop in Austin, TX. Gotta do the quick and cheap mods. LOL

Laters,

Brian

Yes, that's the color. LOL The wife really wanted white, but she's diggin this color. I like it, you really have to look at it to see the green. Very cool. Now, like I said, are there any "Free Mods" to do to these things for more power or just cool stuff?

Brian
