Looked around for a general section for the noobs to introduce themselves but couldn't find one so....

Just purchased an '04 ivory pearl coupe with 46k, in the Cincinnati area. So now I'm here with all the typical mod questions, I've done the searching and just have a few questions... I'm looking for a black on white theme (tinted windows, vinyl roof, overlays for tails and head lights, black side markers)

1. The overlays. I've emailed a user about them but haven't received a response. And would a tint shop be skilled in installing them or would I be better off trying a vinyl place?

2. Rear window spoiler, trunk spoiler, front lip...best place to find a good priced one that isn't cheap ebay stuff from Taiwan.

3. Inlays for the trunk emblem. I've found carbon fiber on ebay but would prefer a gloss black.

4. Black side markers, do they actually exist or are they all just the black background with a clear lens?

Any recommendations/comments are appreciated.

Welcome aboard. I do some work in the Cincy area, actually have an office in the Scripps building.

From a parts perspective on a '04 I'm not sure. For overlays you can try bluebatmobile

Thanks, yea he is the one I emailed, just waiting on a response. I actually live in Northern KY, just figure Cincinnati is more prominent.

Welcome! :wavey:

I just tried to install one of Andy's overlays on the back of my Z. His service and product are great, my installation wasn't. Get a professional! It is very hard to make a flat piece of vinyl fit on a curved part of a car. :squint:

Yeah, I tried a install on my rear lights years ago. Product was great and the first overlay was on nice and clean. Then, I accidentally got the backing wet before installing the second overlay and when I went to remove it the backing crumbled and screwed it up. Totally my fault.
